Not sure what to say?

What a good teacher and a nice man. In some ways, I owe my success as a university professor to Mike´s tutelage. His compassion for young people was a model for all of us to emulate. A true mensch. 50 years later and you are still remembered fondly by this student.

Inspired by our 50th class of 1973 reunion, I decided to dig out my old yearbooks and found this inscription. I just wanted to say Mike Kelley's geometry class was the most important factor of my whole career. I am very sorry to hear of his passing.

Kristen and family, I absolutely loved your dad! He was such a remarkable man. Always gave so much and brought so much laughter and joy! We are so sad about his passing but I do believe he is now at peace and his legacy will continue on throughout his extended family. In our continued prayers.

RIP... Mike.

To the Kelley family,
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Mike was a good friend and a man who gave so much. He will continue to live in all the lives he touched. I am a honored to have had Mike in my life.

So sorry for you and your family, Judy. I didn't know him, but I wish I had. He obviously was one of the good guys; and you were his angel of mercy. May God bless you all.

Dear Family,

I knew Mike for a long time. I was at the Junior High for most of my career, but spent the last five years at the High School. I came to know Mike as a wonderful man, a well respected teacher and beloved coach. May the Lord provide you with solace and peace at this most difficult time.

Sincerely,
Paul Faella
