Not sure what to say?

I met Mike at Carroll college PE Center, out of the blue, I had no idea who he was, just a guy in the gym. He sought me out, collecting some players. He treated me like a friend. I always remembered that and wish I woulda got to know him beyond that day in the gym.

I was one of Mike´s oldest friends from St. Charles. He was a one of a kind person, and a great athlete. I learned a lot from him about being a good competitor and a good friend. I´m sorry we didn´t get in touch after school.

I just found out that Mike died. I was one of his political science teachers at Carroll College and I too am a Notre Dame grad. About 20 years ago I called Mike and we had a wonderful conversation and I was happy he had the same sense of humor and sharp intelligence that I knew back at Carroll College. So sad to hear about Mike. He was a good friend and an amazing lawyer.

Sorry to recently find out about Mike's passing. Lost touch over the years, but had many good card games, concerts, basketball and wedding events in relationship to Carroll College. Mike and I were groomsmen in Mike Shea's weeding in which I saw a picture in a remembrance slide show.

Cancer is a horrible thing that touches so many. Rest in peace my friend. John (Post) Lampert and Mimi Crandall Lampert

Laurie,
What a moving obituary. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I am so sad to read of Mike’s passing. Although I did not know him well, I feel fortunate to have met such a kind, devoted and spiritual man. He was a shining light to his family, his community, and his faith. Godspeed, Sir.

I am sorry I did not have the opportunity for mike to be directly in my life. I strive to be as wonderful as you were to one another as my husband and I could be. Love and wishes, suzy

My sincere condolences to the Kelley family for your loss. My thoughts are with your family.
