A Great man has passed on however he left us all with so many wonderful memories of him that he will always live on in our hearts. The great times and laughs that he bestowed upon us all will always be a reminder of what a great man he was. Mike lived, loved and laughed with the best of em. I am truly heartbroken by the loss of Michael. Mike and I took several train trips together when he was a CSX engineer, he was such a good man. I know that his family is devastated by his untimely death. Please let God console you in this terrible time and know that Mike is in heaven, looking down and protecting you.

Thank you for your service in our armed forces and your professionalism in being a Locomotive Engineer. Once a Brother of the throttle always a Brother as we sound our horns and ring the bells in memory of you. Even though I never had the pleasure to meet you face to face but your loss has affected me the same. I will continue in my prayers for your family and friends that they can find comfort in this time of sadness.
