Not sure what to say?

Ol Friend I still think of you so much. Talking by phone and by email. I often think of the times we had working together at the home center. I know you are enjoying your time in Heaven walking the golden streets...seeing the sites to many to be told. When I get there, Sheila and I will see you in all your glory. Love you my brother.

Dear Carol,
We just found out about Mike today. We r so sad for u and your family. He was always so sweet and so helpful at the beach. We know he will be missed by the boys! Our hearts and prayers r with u. Rick & Linda Neal (your neighbors at Pirateland)

My deepest condolences to you, your family and friends....The world lost a great man!!

Truly a one of a kind boss and human being and one that I have never experienced anything like before or since!!! I was treated very well by Mike during my close to a decade tenure at Guy C. Lee!!! Will always remember his ability to always find the good in others around him and admire the ability he had to talk to people and to get things done!!! My sincere sympathy to all of The Kendall Family!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you!!!

Stephanie and Family - Our hearts go out to you and your dear family at such a difficult time of loss. Peace and comfort to each of you.

After reading the posted memory messages I can humbly agree with all comments. I knew Mike from my association with IBSA when I worked with International Paper. Saw him at most every IBSA show and on several Talladega race trips. Visited his store for the oyster roast also. I never left being around Mike without felling encouraged, uplifted, and ALWAYS a smile on my face plus the love of a friend in my heart! He was truly a gentleman's gentleman and I will miss our talks (yes and jokes)...

We met Mike about six years ago when we moved next door to Mike and Carol while we were building our home. You could not ask for better neighbors, they were so welcoming to us. Then, as we were building our home, of course we purchased our building materials through Mike at Guy C. Lee. He could not have been more helpful and was so kind and generous to us. We will not forget his smile and gracious welcome each time we saw him, whether at work or out and about town. We send our sincere...

Our deepest sympathy to your family

Everything said about this great man is true. I started work for him almost 20 yrs ago and he was a great mentor and father figure in my professional as well as private life even after parting ways on my own career path. One of the few people who would look you in the eye and shake your hand and you knew there was no doubt whatever it was would be done. I hope his dear family finds peace in this time of loss and I can only aspire to work hard every day to be anywhere near the man he was. ...
