Michael L. Kinney

I was deeply saddened to learn of Michael's passing. While I had not been in contact with him since his youth, I remember him fondly as very sweet, caring and kind. In particular I recall the excitement when one of his earliest photographs, "the shirt" helped get him public recognition of his latent creative talents. If only we all were as kind, giving and in search of peace and tranquility as Mike. He leaves us an inspiring legacy to be proud of.

Dear Carol,

My deepest condolences to you and your family. I feel so bless to get to know you and I do hope and pray that God will give you the strength in this very difficult moment. We all hope to join Michael in heaven someday where there will be no more pain and sorrow.

We did not know your son/sibling but wanted to share this poem to help ease your grief. You know that Michael now inhabits a place far better than we could ever imagine.

Over the years Mike had taken many photos, his legacy to me is the photo he had taken of Gram and Poppy, It was always my favorite and will remain with us for a long time
