Not sure what to say?

when I first met Mike, my first question to him was "Where are you from? When he replied "LaGrande", I knew it. Being from Bates myself, identified that eastern Oregon drawl. Mike was fun to be around and a supportive colleague.

Worked with Mike for 12 years. Loved his Eastern Oregon stories which so reminded me of tales my Dad would tell of living there, too. Mike was one of my favorite colleagues.

My colleague at Jefferson, my friend ever since. My world is a sadder place without your presence. Miss you.
Sandy Coe

She always had warm chocolate chip cookies when we showed up. I always looked forward to seeing Mike at our class reunions. He was the life of every party without exception! One of the only regrets I have about moving to Alaska is losing touch with Mike. He did come up to see me on one very special occasion...

Great memories of when we taught together at Jefferson. Helen Koopman

Henry was his buddy at Jeff, when fishing, at camp outs in the desert. We all loved his appreciation of fireworks on the 4th of July. His stories were endless and some of us could repeat them for him. Because of his love of children we have made a donation to SMART (start making a reader today). We look forward...

So sorry for your loss Chuck, and all your family's loss of a loved one!

Mr. Kornegay was a fantastic teacher and great guy. I have wonderful memories of hanging out with him (anywhere but the teachers lounge, he was not a teachers lounge kind of guy) when I student taught...
