Not sure what to say?

On this anniversary of Mike’s passing I just wanted to say that i think of Mike often and with much fondness. He had a really positive impact in my life and subsequently on all the lives and creative projects i have had the privilege to be a part of. Thank you my friend. The world could use you right now.

I was saddened when I saw that Mike passed away. We were best of friends in grade school and high school. He was always so positive and energetic. Great times and a lot of laughs growing up. The memories are truly priceless.

Mike was the brilliant sound mixer for Nation of One and I played bass for them in the mid 80s and I had the privilege of being a groomsman for him. I loved Mike. He was always so positive and so into what he did. I was inspired by him. I went in to work in the music industry as a producer and mixer and I am so sad I lost touch with him. I had been thinking about him quite a bit lately and decided to look him up and was so sorry to see that he had passed. The world just lost a bright light. I...

Dear Mike's family:

We are so very sorry for your loss. Mike was a special kind of guy. He was my roommate twice and boy did we have an interesting couple of years. He actually introduced me to my husband. I haven't seen him for a few years now, but he will be missed. He was just too young. I'm very, very sad.

Im not sure ware to start but Michael was a hard worker happy person He Will be missed as part of the Wilbert's crew .
always loved his bikes and it didnt bother him to ride from any place as far as strongs ville north ridgeville to Wilberts in cleveland .
He could take jokes and dish them back out,he would come in with me on Thursdays and Fridays for beer deliveries and straighten out the cooler so all 2 to 5 deliveries would fit.
Michael Kotnik you will be missed see you someday...

I lit a candle for Mikey and burned my finger, and Mikey wouldn't have it any other way. Will miss you immensely, buddy, and it was great to have known you.

What will I miss most about Mikey? Mikey's smile. Mikey's laugh. Mikey's hair. Mikey's confused expressions. Mikey's walk. Most of all, Mikey's walk when he talked the talk. A pleasure to have known, now my friend has flown. My sincere condolences to all who knew and loved him.
