Michael Julius Krane

1944 - 2018

May 10, 1944 - August 16, 2018 Michael Krane, age 74, passed away in Malibu, CA, at 8:15am on Aug. 16th. He was surrounded by his immediate family. Michael was born in Brooklyn, New York, on May 10th 1944. Michael received his medical degree in 1969, and practiced medicine for over 30 years. He was a respected radiologist in Beverly Hills. He was married to Ellen Krane for over 50 years. He is survived by his wife Ellen Krane, his children Justin Krane (and daughter-in-law, Suzanne Krane), Ryan Krane (and daughter-in-law, Alison Krane); his grandchildren: Jonah Krane, Riley Krane, Jake Pedersen, Oliver Krane and Charlotte Krane. He is also survived by his sister Shelley Wolfe, and his nieces, and nephews. He is also survived by sister-in-law Susan Krane (brother Sam Krane deceased), sister and brother-in-law Bonnie & Paul Ephraim. Michael was an avid cyclist and a lover of Judaism. Michael loved his family deeply. His wife, children and grandchildren meant everything to him. Michael could look at pictures of his grandchildren for hours. He is at peace now and no longer suffering. We will ALL miss him greatly! The funeral will be held at Groman Eden Mortuary at 1pm on Sunday, August 19th. The address is 11500 Sepulveda Blvd. in Mission Hills, CA. Donations can be made to Tranquil Care Hospice and to the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF). We will always remember Michael in our hearts.
