Not sure what to say?

Michael and his band would drive from the Pocono Mts. to my bar in Kintnersville, Pa. and the crowd loved him. Whenever Michael played it was standing room only. He was a good friend.

My first time performing music on stage for an audience was along side Mr. Kratzer, as well as Bob Lewis, John Bray and Duffy Hoffman. Mike was always encouraging toward younger musicians. He was always inspiring with his wisdom and songwriting talent. RIP. Gone but not forgotten. (P.S. Life is eternal)

So sad to hear this news. Mike was a great guy, and I knew him since we lived in the same "neck of the woods" outside Flemington. My thoughts are with you Guy and Al, and all of Mike's family.

So sorry Mike. You were an inspiration to me growing up as a kid. Glad we got to reconnect in our adult years musically and work wise. Love you man.

A "Troubadour" sums it up perfectly. Sadly, I lost touch with Mike over the years. There was a time when Dave Smith, Alex Haritos and myself would wyle away all our free time together. Then Life beaconed us all in different directions. Quoting a song Mike wrote: "you´ve got a smile so bright, you look like an Airstream trailer shining in the Sun". Until we meet again old friend. God speed.

So sorry to hear this. Mike was a true original. My twisted sense of humor was only surpassed by his. Knew Mike in HS and we'd hang out with friends later in the seventies on numerous occasions. His love of music was not a passing interest...he always had a song. Last time I saw Mike was at the end of my driveway about 15 years ago. I was re-stocking a little tomato stand that my wife and I had set up for our son to help operate. We had a great visit and he left with a bag of tomatoes. Rest...

I met Mikie at work. But I have considered him "My best Friend" since that time! Not only was he an outstanding musician/songwriter; he was a talented restorationist! Mike was my foreman for the few years we spent together as co-workers restoring historical buildings back to their original beauty and charm. We both loved working together and had many laughs sharing our "wierd" sense of humor! The work was hard and took a toll on both of us, but we rarely complained because our...
