Not sure what to say?

MK, You are always in my thoughts and prayers. I miss your huge hugs, your smile, your "Hey Beautiful" with each greeting. So many memories, such a huge heart! Has it really been 15 years? It was way too soon. Every opening season of the Rockies it all comes flooding back even though you are in my thoughts constantly. I keep a piece of your artwork in my office. So thankful your family gifted me a part of you. I find comfort in thinking about you. I miss you my friend. xoxo A

Michael... I can't believe it has been 15 years since you left us. I still think about you often and will never forget your smile. Your artwork is hanging on the wall in my bedroom. You are not forgotten and will always be missed.

MK you redhead!
I worked with Michael for a short time at Wunderman in Irvine and he was always quick with a smile and a laugh. It wasn't long before he got homesick for Denver but he certainly made an impression on a lot of people.

My sincerest condolences to Michael's family and friends

Michael K and Vallie at the Latin Lounge - I miss you MK

Michael K - I just can't believe it... we spoke weekly and you were always there for me no matter what time of the day or evening I called. You were a very good friend and I miss you deeply. My grandfather passed away two days after you and I had to fly to California, so I was unable to pay my respects to you and your family, but I still think of you and all of them daily. You were an incredible bright light for me... and I will never forget you. I love you MK.

I knew Mike long, long ago but he's the kind of character you just don't forget. We lost touch more than 10 years ago, but I remember him like it was yesterday. He was one of those people that seemingly could do anything with ease. Made you sick, really. He hit some of the most amazing golf shots I've ever seen, and I've seen plenty. And he hardly practiced! He used to do drawings for us in high school -- $25. When I look back at it, I wished I'd have held on to them. They're probably worth...

My deepest sympathies to the Krause Family. "MK" was a very special person and he had a great BIG heart. His positive attitude and smile always lit up a room. MK's outgoing personality made him the "Major" of Denver and he connected with all types of people. I used to call him TK all the time as a joke--and we always shared a chuckle over our dumb joke.

My prayers and thoughts are with your family.

To the Krause family,
I send my prayers and thoughts to you. It’s easy to understand how MK turned out such a beautiful person. MK was truely a gift and I thank you for sharing him with us.

MK,
Thank you for being such a great guy, always ready with a smile. You were my mentor and my friend. Though you are not here in body you will live on through our hearts and shared through our stories.
I miss you MK

MK
You are truly an amazing person! I keep thinking that it can not be true that you are not here! I hope you are looking down and smiling from ear to ear -you were loved very much and the turn out at the funeral and the kind words that are spoken are only a little sign of how much! Take care good buddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tears are flowing as I read all of these amazing notes. I first met MK as the low man on the totem pole at Integer when I fist moved to Denver in '98 and was trying to break into the ad world via the creative coordinator assistant route. I'll never forget where MK sat in the Creative Dept. at that time and it was always delightful to stop by and have a quick conversation with my new friend and pal, MK. His endearing personality was captivating and will never be forgotten. Our friendship...
