Ande, family and friends, our deepest sympathy goes out to you. I spent a fair amount of time with Mike participating in athletics at Glenbrook South. He had natural gifts he made better with hard work. I also spent some happy time with him at Northern Illinois U when he was a roommate of Steve Hansel. His smile could brighten the coldest DeKalb day. He will remain in my heart as an example of a good way to live life.

Dear Ande & family - Pam & I were greatly shocked & saddened upon hearing the news of Mike's passing. Words fail to properly convey the depth of our sympathy for you all. I am really glad that I had the chance to reconnect with Mike at the summer golf outings and to meet Ande as well. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I have known and loved the entire Kubis family for 36 plus years. It all started with Mikey. I will miss him more than I can put down in words. I am grateful not only for knowing him but also for continuing our relationship through the years. He will remain at the top of my list forever. Ande and family, it goes without saying that I am there for you whenever you need me.

Dear Ande, Jason, Kelly and the entire Kubis family. I truly am so sorry for your sudden and shocking loss. I too, have experienced that hand of fate, and my heart goes out to all of you.
