Not sure what to say?

Jamie and the boys lived next door to our family in Dellwood. I baby sat for Mike and Matt whenever Jamie needed a sitter. Mike and Matt were both in YMCA Indian Guides with my Dad as their proxy father. My dad always looked forward to his time shared with both boys. Linda Patterson Flanders, Innsbrook, MO

Sara, I was in shock to hear about Mike. He gave so much of himself to others, his teaching and wisdom will be missed dearly. I'm so sorry dear
friend, we lost another good one. You are in my heart and I'm here.

As one of the three daughters to his surviving Uncle Edwin Jordan, we were shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. Mike was one of the nicest cousins who always went out of his way to remember us on special occasions. We were fortunate to see him a few years ago and meet his lovely family. I remember, years ago, sitting and talking about long distance running and how important it was for the soul. The world has lost a kind and considerate person too soon.

I’m sorry to hear the news about Mr. K. He was such a great teacher and coach! I offer my deepest condolences.

Mr.Kyriakos was a wonderful teacher. From his class I got a greater understanding of American History and a love of Jimi Hendrix. He played a video of Jimi Hendrix playing the Star Spangled Banner and to this day it is one of the most epic things I have ever seen...and one of my favorite high school memories. We did have lectures but they were never boring. My husband wasn't in his classes but he still talks about the time he wore his Sunday Best for our first Valentines Day and Mr.K saw him...

Sara- Steve and I were sadden to hear of Mike’s passing. He will be remembered by so many for so many different reasons. I know Mike helped me get my job at Ottawa High School and have always appreciated that he wanted to help Steve and me. You and the girls are in my thoughts, I can’t imagine your grief.

Mike was a wonderful man that inspired many students in the classroom, in sports and as a mentor. My family was fortunate to have all 3 of our children in Mike's classroom, our daughters on the volleyball court and to lend an ear when they needed it. Many young adults were put on the right path to stay in school and told that after high school gets better!
