Not sure what to say?

I first met Michael when I was working at the Wharton Computer Center as an undergraduate. He was everything others have said here - funny, kind, and focused on the students. I saw him frequently while I lived in the city and periodically caught up with him several times after I left Philadelphia. I periodically looked to see if he had retired and was very sad to see his obituary. To the Greve family, I am belatedly and truly sorry for your loss

R.I.P my dear friend. You were one of the people I missed most when I moved from Philly to LA to boost my career. Although out of sight, you were never out of heart. Miss ya Steven xo

I've been struggling for a while with what to say about Michael's passing. I worked with Michael for 13 years; he was always friendly and willing to help out. He kept an eye out for his student workers and co-ops - always keeping an eye out for leftover food from catered lunches to bring back to them - and refill his cup of ice while he was at it! He was a kind soul, and he will be deeply missed in this world. Rest easy, Michael.

I worked with Michael for about 10 years at Wharton. He was always kind, caring, and wanting to help out the students in any way he could. He was kind hearted and will be greatly missed

Goodbye to my birthday buddy. Will be thinking of you this year and in all years hence.

Michael had a great sense of humor, and always knew how to keep the office a lively and inviting environment for everyone who entered through its doors. His care for students and coworkers alike was obvious, as was his desire for helping them resolve any technical issues that came up.

When I started as a co-op in the Student Support office years ago, Michael was not only one of the first people I had the pleasure of working with in my IT career, but helped introduce me to how -...

I loved how excited Michael would get about hosting student configuration sessions at the beginning of every year. He always made sure we had good snacks and swag for the students like we were hosting a fantastic welcoming party! He took pride in working alongside Mikki and all of the student workers in Student Support. Every year, he would always wish me a happy birthday on Facebook with the kind of elegant and beautiful pictures that only Michael could find. When both of us had insomnia, we...

God Bless You n May you rest in peace

Michael, you were cool to the core. I knew you were present and tuned in even though you didn't make any grand entrances but I think preferred to slip in. I will always appreciate your due diligence and concern for resolving issues at work. Your kindness and caring was exemplary and I'm lucky to have worked with you. To the Greve family, I'm so sorry for your loss.
