Mike was my cousin (our mothers were sisters). Being close in age, he and I grew up together, and even though my family moved from Olean when I was 5 y/o, we kept in touch. Mike was one of the most thoughtful, kind and gentle people I have ever known. Mike had health struggles from childhood, but he always seemed to rise above those issues. I am sorry that his health had turned against him in the last few years. Janet & I send condolences to his former wife, Marlene, & to his children...

I took care of Mike's parents for a few years, he and his brother Dugan treated me like I was part of the family, and I am happy to have those memories of that very special family.
