Great friend. Hard worker. Creative thinker. Intense negotiator. Constant improver. Thrill seeker. Committed activist. Loving husband. Thoughtful son. Amazing person. I have known Michael for 19 years. He was my first friend in Atlanta and has held a top spot in my heart since then. He lived and loved fully, which allowed him to pack a lot into every one of the years of his robust life. I will miss him and I will hold onto my cherished memories even tighter knowing that is all I have left....

I still can’t believe he is gone . I can still feel his presence. I always introduced Michael to people telling them he was the big brother I never had even though I have two older brothers. Michael was always someone I could count on to give me advice whether it was business or personal. I truly admired Michael with his zest for life, his love for John, and his beautiful essence. Will miss him so much!!

Michael was a caring and compassionate man. I admired him greatly for his steady way and calm nature, and dedication to so many causes. Even if he tired, he persevered to fulfill whatever commitment he made. I admired how he cherished his family. I admired his and John's relationship. Michael was always honest.
