I met Mike in 1982 at the fire department when 5 friends and I started Explorer Post 351. Mike was an Engineer at the time on Engine 5 and one of our first Post Advisors. His love of the job was infectious and we all caught the firefighting bug from him. His humor filled the station and made those 24 hour shifts a lot of fun. I learned more about the job from Mike in two short years than from the many classes I´ve taken at the academy. I bet he, Daddy Don and Ray House are sitting around the...

We enjoyed them many times we were with Mike at the kids games over the years. He was so fun to be around. He will be greatly missed!

Mike was a great guy and I enjoyed working with him. He will surely be missed. You will be in my prayers and if there is anything I can do to help, just let me know.

Our hearts are with you during this unimaginable loss. Wishing you strength, comfort, and peace as you honor his memory. May the love of family and friends bring you comfort in the days ahead. We´re here for you, always.
