To Mike's family,
My heartfelt condolences to all of his loved ones and friends. My thoughts are with you at this trying time. Mike will forever be remembered for his smile, laugh and enduring jest to live life to the fullest. Peace be with you Mike. ~Linda Rodriguez-Newstrom

To the Larsen family,

I have thought about Mike often over the past few days after hearing about his passing. Although saddened to hear that he is gone, I always end up smiling when I think about him. As I read the entries in this guest book, that smile and sense of fun is what many of us remember and loved about Mike. In fact, the last time I saw him, he was laughing and teasing me about something, as always. May the many happy moments in your life with him comfort you in...

I am so saddened by Mike's passing. I feel like I have lost a brother who was always an adventure to be with and could get you there and back again without too much injury and a great story to tell. Thank you Mike for dragging me along.
Thank you Grant, Vera, Tom & Patty for showing me some of the best times of my life. My menories of the Larsen house on S St., jumping off the cliff at Trinity and all those smiling faces have always been precious to me. See you on Saturday.
Love...

I'am listening to Canned Heat "On the Road Again". Another time in life, The Spencer family sends it's spirits and hopes.I'am coming north in July and up til the 17'th,Iwas hoping to visit Mike in Napa. Things change. It's been a pleasure knowing Michael though our short lifetime,to the rest of the family Love.

Dear Vera and Grant,

We are very sad to hear about Mike's passing. I remember Willow Creek and the old swimming hole where we all had so much watching the kids swim, then they all grew up and then the trials and problems they seem to enjoy gave us grey hair. Mike used to love to tease. He will be missed very much by all that have known him.
I sent an entry about the same time Gerri sent one, but I didn't do it right. (oops)

I always thought Mike was magic when I lived with him when I was younger. Some how when I made a wish for a TV on the wishbone at Thanksgiving, Mike knew and I had one in my room the very next day. Grilled cheese sandwiches cut into triangles when I got to come home for lunch from school always made me feel special. My first fishing was with him too. You will always be missed Mike! Love you, Mandi

Vera, Grant, Patty, and family, We are thinking of all of you. So sad to hear the news. Mike was always so cheerful, full of life, and a great friend. We will be in Eureka during June and plan to see you then, Ron and Pam Gomes

To Mikes Family,
I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of Mike. We went to Eureka High together. My first thought when I heard the news was an old memory of abunch of us friends hanging out at lunch time laughing and joking around. Mike always seemed to be "chuckling" about something. He was a great guy. Please except my heartfelt condolences.
