The James Lawrence Laughlin family of Downers Grove IL send our sincerest condolences. Maurine just found out today from Joe Kohlrus of Springfield.
Mike was very special to us in many ways. Our prayers are with you.

Everybody that attended Franklin High school in the mid 1960s remembers Mr Laughlin. He was indeed a good guy.

Mike was of the neighborhood of Hill and Fortune Street. Susan Rohrer, Jay Bristow, Judy Moffitt, Fred Wood, John Clinton, Betty Gatton, Jim Yagow, Sherry Vincent and Lynn Berry Jr. Many memories that will never be forgotten of the 40's, 50's growing up in Virden. Susan and I, Lynn Berry Jr, send our deepest sympathy to Ricki and the Laughlin family.

ike was my civics teacher at Franklin and I really enjoyed him. He was a really young teacher at that time, but he was an excellent teacher. He had a kindness that you could feel. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers for the family and rest assured he is in the hands of our Lord and we shall see him again.
