Not sure what to say?

You are still missed, buddy!

Bob, sorry to read of Mike's passing. I am from Leetown, WV and I came up to Fayetteville, Pa from 1997 to around 2017 playing in the Crist golf outing. Played a large number of times with Mike and shared a lot of good times which I will cherish and remember forever. I've met you a few times during these golf excursions. Mike was always in a good mood and his character was strong. Bob and Leslie please accept my heartfelt condolences.

I went to St Ann's grade school and McDevitt HS with Mike. For the first 14 years of my life I lived close to Mike and his family just across the street from my grandparents house. We shared some good times together and I was sorry to hear of his passing to late to make the funeral. My heart and sympathy go out to his family and all of those deeply impacted by this loss.

Mike LaVia epitomized the selfless family man that good natured and well-intentioned people can typically only aspire to, and I am proud and grateful to have known him. It is difficult to think of our lives without Mike being physically in it, but it is easy to think fondly of the memories he shared, all the caring he so generously provided, and the good humor he showed. RIP to a quality man.

Bob, we are so very sorry to hear of the death of your brother. God Bless all the LaVia family at this time of sorrow......Phyllis & Bob Bogovic

To Mike's family and friends may pleasant memories ease your sorrows and may God bless you all.

My condolences to the family. I worked with Mike for several years and would think of him from time to time. I still tell stories of my time working with him.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. From a Bishop McDevitt classmate.

Leslie and Bill, my sincere condolences to you and your families. I will never forget the great summers we all shared at Rainbow pool. May GOD bless Mike and all of you.
