Carla,
My deepest sympathy at your loss. I know how much you loved your son. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you strength and comfort during this difficult time.

Mike was the first person I met when I moved to Huntsville. He had a huge heart and was so much fun to be around. Mike was such an understanding and accepting person. He will be missed.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Mike always held a smile and a sincere care for his friends and family. It was 4 or 5 years since I saw Mike until last year. My handshake was greeted with a big hug and sincere conversation as if we never skipped a beat. God bless you and may you rest in peace Mike.
