Michael J. Ledford

Michael Joseph Ledford, 29, of Pawley's Island, SC died unexpectedly at his home on May 23rd, 2017. Michael was born on October 20th, 1987 in Gastonia, NC, a son to Joe Ledford and Rose McMahan. Michael married his wife Tina on April 21st, 2012.

In life, Michael worked as a mechanic and was employed by Cohen's Drywall in Pawley's Island. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in York, SC. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and he was most at peace when he was riding his motorcycle. Michael will be remembered as a hard worker and a loving father, son and husband.

Michael is survived by his wife, Tina Marie Ledford, daughter Neveah Shane Ledford of NC, son Austin Michael Ledford of SC, parents Joe Ledford, Rose McMahan and Sam McMahan, sister Heather Pettipaw (Frank) and their children Xavier, Melinda, Hailey and Russell, brother Scott (Rhonda) of SC, sisters Deb (Jeff) and Trish (Ed) of SC and Justin and Josh Ledford, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 2nd at 4:00 PM at Blessed Hope Baptist Church, 410 Blessed Hope Road in York, SC. May he rest in peace.
