Mike was first boss at Brewin Dolphin. He saved my career after being unemployed or 3 years. I think we had about 8 years together and helped shape into an investment analyst having previously been an investment managers. We had many business trips together and some brilliant team lunches. Hana, Gay, Mattea, Kathy, Lexie. On opening this weekend's Globe and Mail, I was startled to see Michael's obituary. My saddness over his passing is gradually being tempered by my fond recollection of our many years as friends and students during high school and university.
