Not sure what to say?

I knew Mike as a child when my dad played with him in a band. He seemed pretty cool. Laurel and Chestnut.

Dear Kathy and rest of the family:

I write you this sympathy letter from very far away. In spite of this long distance (1 continent and 1 ocean), I really feel very close to you ALL.

During my stay in California I didn't meet Mike, and believe me I didn't even know that he was so sick. I feel sorry because I have missed the opportunity of knowing a very good person. Fortunately, I met you Kathy deeply and that's something I will never forget because of your excellent human...

Kathy and Frank,
We both are in your thoughts of losing a loved son. Special memories are for you two to enjoy and to be thankful for the enjoyment brought to your family by Michael.

With all our sympathy,

Don and Casi Wilson

Looking back, it's hard to remember a time when Mike wasn't in my thoughts and prayers. I met Mike at Apple Valley Junior High, and his infectous good humour and generous kindheartedness was part of my daily life for years and years. I can't remember a time when I did not see him laughing and smiling and joking around. Mike was a fun guy to be around, and he left his indellible mark on all of us. Mike's music inspired me to become a better musician, he was a real-life guitar legend around...

This sad news came to me as a surprise and a shock, and to lose Mike is like losing a brother. Mike inspired me to love guitar and play music, and appreciate life. When he moved to Santa Cruz I would spend many days and nights partying and jamming, hanging out with him and Debbie. I am not sure what to say other...

My dear cousins
Like branches on a tree, we grow in different diections, yet our roots remain as one. Although we are separated by miles, please know that you are in our thoughts, our prayers and our hearts as this news has saddened us all. Michael was such a sweetheart! We each have our own fond memories. He is at rest with his God and his heavenly family. Please give each other hugs from all of us here. I love you all and miss you!

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Frank, Kathy, & Gina:

I am so sorry for your loss. I know that God will comfort you as you try to come to terms with the loss of Mike. Our faith keeps us sane at these times. If Mike was anything like his father, then everyone who knew him liked him and will sorely miss his humor and quick wit. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God grant you peace and understanding.
