Michael Lesko

Dear Lesko family, You have our sympathies on the death of Michael. We did not know him well. However we do know about him because he is a member of your family. He must have been a good man; church and community volunteer and generally a great guy to be around. Lots of laughter too. We are sorry for your sadness.

Michael's broad smile always greeted me as I ascended the stairs
to the choir loft at St. Gregory's Byzantine Church for liturgy each Sunday. Even though we no longer had a choir, I often heard him singing heartily --especially for Svjati Boze, Syjati Kripki, Svjati Besmertni (Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One) on those times when the cantor intoned this little part from our singing in the Old Slavonic as children and young adults. I, too, enjoyed joining him in this singing....

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort in the coming days. As a fellow classmate of Marge, I was truly sorry to learn of Michael's unfortunate demise and wanted to express my sincere sympathy.
