Not sure what to say?

I know it is strange to receive a condolence message so long after your father's death, but for some unknown reason, his name just popped into my head. Actually, I don't even know if you will receive this. My parents, brother and I were guests at the Fieldston Hotel several summers and I worked as a waiter in the children's dining room for 3 summer when I was in college (1958-1959). We were somehow related, with my mother referring to his father as cousin Jack. Of course, I knew your uncle...

To the entire Levine Family, I just saw it and I wanted to send my condolences to all of you. My grandmother enjoyed spending time with your family and always spoke so highly of all of you. I remember your dad stiching me up after getting cut with some glass. You would never know I had stitches. I remeber him.always smiling. My condolences again. Sincerely, Carl Zieminski

Dearest Marilyn and family, I just learned of Mickey´s passing this morning after the Yale/Brown lacrosse game in New Haven yesterday. Please accept heartfelt condolences. Our son Mark sat in the same area near Erica during the game. In the small world department throughout the afternoon they discovered having known each other from back in Western Mass. Marilyn you and Mickey together were a wonderful couple who left a great imprint on the community. Both were great doctors. Both loved...

Dear Marilyn and family, Allen and I were saddened to learn of Mickey´s passing. Please accept our deepest sympathy. Allen and Maria Bonde

what a joy to know and talk for endless hours about all the ancient LEVINE memorabilia. He so enjoyed the intrigues and successes and not once did he bewail his illnesses . He appreciated life so fully that each living day was a gift to best use. He adored Marilyn. It is rare to find the depth of feeling expressed here for anyone much more so for a general surgeon . I will miss you always. Love Max

One of the best students with whom I ever worked. Insightful, witty, and deeply committed to a more peaceful world.

My thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Marilyn Levine and her family.

I worked with Dr Levine in the Emergency Room at Baystate Medical Center, this was during his time in the Air Force. He was a joy to work with, and a great man., Tom Ostiguy R.N. North Carolina..

In so very sorry for your loss. I remember what a compassionate surgeon he was to me in 1985. He did my staging laparotomy for my first bout with Hodgkin´s disease. All we can wish for as survivors is to have met a surgeon who helped set the bar for us to know compassion and expect it going forward. Never a hope stealer.
