Not sure what to say?

My dad would have been truly honored to know he had such a loyal, and loving bunch of friends, and staff. He taught me a lot about life, the most important lesson I will take from him was treat others as you would wish to be treated, and you will be respected and loved by many. I want to personally thank all who took the time for signing this guest book, and Janice for thinking of putting it together.

I worked for Mr. Liegel for 6 years and was just a teenager when he hired me. He kept me afloat through my high school and college careers, which he was good at doing with most of the hardworking teens in retail. He was a very energetic person with high hopes for anything and was very proud of his family and career. He had a serious side but was also a person that could make you laugh when you needed one. He will be missed.

Please accept my deepest sympathies.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dear Janice & Family:

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time in your lives. . I had the pleasure of working with Mike when his store was part of District 8307 out of Indy. His hearty laugh will be remembered by many aside from myself.

With deepest sympathy,
Gabrielle 'Gabby' Tamler

Janice: I had the distinct privilege of working with Mike at JCPenney in Milwaukee, and eventually following him in Mankato. Since that time Mike has been a mentor, partner, and true friend. I truly enjoyed his exuberance, energy, and that always present smile. Mike was always there to share his experience, insights, and perspective. I fondly remember an evening we spent in Los Angelus at a JCPenney awards dinner. After the awards program we sat in the lounge, shared a beer, and solved...

Mike was a one of the better bosses that I have worked for. I am sorry for your loss. May your memories bring you comfort during your time of grief.

Janice and Family,
I really enjoyed working with Mike, while at the University Park store. Mike was so proud of his family and we would talk at great length about his kids and mine. Mike was a true merchant and was a real asset to the JCPenney company. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you.

Dear Janice and family. I am so sorry for your loss. Mike and I had a great working relationship as well as a great friendship. He will be missed by all whose lifes he's touched.
