Michael Anthony Linden

Mr. Linden was my Physical Education teacher at Milam for so many years. I can still picture him in his Bike shorts and straw hat on the microphone playing "Electric Boogie" while we played "Bowling for Dollars." All of the students loved Mr. Linden for his unique personality and we had so much fun in his class. I am sorry to hear about his passing but glad to see other educators like Mr. Goldman and former students remember his legacy. My condolences to the Linden Family.

I did my internship under Mike Linden in 1975. He was my mentor, friend and most of all my brother in Jesus Christ. I didn´t know of his passing until today August 1 , 2022. He will be greatly missed. He was a special person.

My wife and I were colleagues of Mr. Linden (Mike) at Milam K-8 Center for many years. He was a dedicated educator, good citizen, and an all around good guy. He was the UTD Steward at the school, helped kids learn how to read, told some silly jokes, always was there to lend an ear or just talk about current events. We always will remember him as a fellow Gator (U.F.), Colleague, and Friend. Good memories and our deepest sympathy and thoughts to the Linden Family.

Mr. Linden was my Physical Education Teacher at Milam Elementary over 40 years ago! I remember him wearing his hat to block the sun and a whistle around his neck. Rest In Peace, Coach Linden!
