Michael V. Lindsay, 67, of Fredon Township died on Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be held at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m., followed by eulogies at 8:30 p.m. Interment will be private....

Dear Eileen and Erin,
I will miss Mike very much for his compassion, humor, brutal honesty and thought provoking conversation. I always looked forward to seeing Mike at the Mountainbrook to discuss the issues of the day especially after a tough day in the big city. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to meet a person who inspires and elevates the best in everyone. He was one of a kind. I wish we had more time...
