Not sure what to say?

my husband, Stan Atkinson, loved Michael and Katie dearly. Stan entertained me in the early years of our courtship with rip roaring stories of his friendship with Michael and Katie. Stan stayed in touch with Katie for some years after Michael's death. Stan died this May at 92

Dear Michael,
We didn't have much time, not nearly enough time, to be with you. But the time we had was so much fun and inspiring. We will always remember the poker games and wonderful meals Katy prepared and think of you and miss you, your humor, your laugh, and your caring for others wellbeing.

Dear Michael, a true Gemini
Multifaceted, never shy
Quick with wit, quite often dry
Clever, wise and funny guy

You brought us laughter, made us whole
Helped us to expand our views
Praised our talents, touched my soul
Loosing you is such sad news

I know you’re in a better place
Where you can keep a watchful eye
Pease leave a map, your path to trace
We’ll meet again, for now good bye

Michael was the epitome of hospitable and noble. His friendliness, generosity and warm heart will make him live in my heart forever. Bill and I will always be grateful to him and to Katy for enriching our lazy years in LaLaLand.
Michael, we miss you but you´re with us.

Michael. I never really thanked you for becoming such a good friend. When I moved into Cinnies House, I knew none of the beach crowd. Thanks to you I was swept into various card and dice games. I still hold in my memry bank. most of the great times we had together. The laughter, the merry partaking of of an cocasional (!) drink.
Your great laugh, wit, and warmth of friendship I treasure.

Michael was the first boy I ever knew. He and Cinnie lived in our guest appartment on Linden Drive. We were together the Christmas his father died. We were together the spring my family left Beverly Hills forever when my father was blacklisted. From then on I saw him infrequently, on leave from the army, once in monte carlo, later in L.A.when I came for a friends wedding. But we were always family. Recently we have spoken at length about the things that made him happy and unhappy and always...

A giant in every way.

We'll miss you, but always
remember you.

Dear Michael: Although you are not here with us any more, I shall never forget the raucous and great times we had when we all were in Malibu together years ago. You attended our wedding, and we attended yours and Katy's celebration of your own wedding. I'll never forget the many happy dinner parties, games of Dados and hilarious games of poker. I always enjoyed your quick wit and great stories of adventures you had experienced in your life. And oh the great laughs. Your booming laugh...

Mikey..(you hated that when I started calling you that..but dammit..now you've gone and died)
Did we ever really get to know ye??!!
There was always so much of you to plumb..for the humor..the intellect and the talent.
You should have had the audience many of your famous friends have and had.
Time with you was always so energized (and often exhausting) I always went home knowing there was so much more percolating..that I hadn't even reached.
Rare and choice..that was...
