Michael Lithgow passed away in Seattle, Washington. The obituary was featured in The Seattle Times on September 28, 2011.
Mike had respect for history and the struggles that we have gone through to get where we all are. His collection of historic mementos was very interesting. I am sad I didn't have more time with him.

We will all miss Mike, I am sure. He truly was one of a kind! It is tragic that he did not get back to his beloved New Zealand....actually, he is probably there now! R.I.P. my friend.

Mike will always remain in my memory as a unique person. Mike honored the truth, displaying a remarkable sense of independence in thought and action.
We will miss Mike, but praise God that he is in a better world and waiting to reunite with family and friends when we get there.
