Not sure what to say?

Mike brought joy and laughter to any person he met and into any room he entered. I loved him, and will miss him.
I said this at the memorial service but I will put it in writing for you Laurie. From the first week I knew your family and Mike was preparing to leave to go and fish for the winter, I raised my right hand and made a vow to him that I would take good care of his family while he was gone. It became our little "ritual" I would find him before he would leave to fish and vow to...

Laurie & kids- thank you for sharing Mike with us all these precious years! It is a blessing to know he walked with the Lord and showed by giving his family and friends his God given talent and grace in all of his being and servanthood here on earth~ We too shall see him again one day~ He 'fished for souls' now he is fishing beside Jesus :-)
Love w genuine concern and prayers

Mike will be missed by those who knew him, as he touched the lives of so many. I am honored to have known him. I know he's doing great things for God's kingdom!

Laurie,
We are so sorry to hear about your loss. We are praying for your family during this difficult time.
Steve & I were just talking about the time the boys came out to put gravel in our driveway. We'll never forget how Mike set the example by grabbing the shovel first and showing them how to do it. Then staying half the afternoon to help them. He was a father that set the bar high for all the father's that knew him.

May God comfort you and your children at this...

Mike was an incredible man and there is noone more perfect to carry on his legacy than Laurie and the kids! We pray for strength for all the loved ones carrying the pain of his loss.

Mike was an incredible man who blessed everyone he came in contact with.
