I'd like to share a few memories that I have had with Mike...

My first bike riding lesson (1962)
Mike and his friend were planning a bike ride down the road a mile, so I asked if I could go. Mike said only if you can ride that bike (referring to a bike that he couldn't ride himself which was 4 times the size I was) well after a few try's and having never ridden before, I pushed it and jumped on. I was so happy to be going along with them, yet alone...

A dear friend is missed immensly already.
Hope we meet again to share the fun we had.

I had the privilege of being Mike's real estate agent the honor of calling him my friend. I will miss him for the rest of my life. The world was alot more fun with him in it and it's hard to imagine a world without him. He left us early but left us all with much. I will, forever, cherish all of my funny Mike Long stories and share them when possible, with his many friends. He left us with a finely crafted example of how life,at it's fullest, ought to be lived. Godspeed my friend. Teddy

Mike was an angel that crossed my path 17 years ago. I was a single mother having to start over from scratch with an 8 month old baby. He opened a door for us and became our landlord. He was always so responsive and kind, and when I finally saved up enough to purchase home, he even came down and helped us move. He hung out with the other movers and had pizza with them afterwards. That alone is a testimony of the kind of heart Mike had. Our paths never crossed after that, but my eyes filled...

I got to know MIKE while he had his Chevy hot rod at Armstrongs'Auto. I had a lot of fun with Mike, working on that project for him. and working with him on other projects he had around town. We had a blast going to CARLISLE Swap meets, When I lived in Enola . My prayers go up our Gracious LORD, for all of your family and my heart is saddened to hear of this. Love to all of you.

My husband, Russ Wheeler, is retired from the West Shore Regional Police Dept.
and remembers when Mike worked for the
Bureau of Lemoyne years ago. He said that Mike was a good man and a good worker. We are sorry to hear of his
sudden passing and extend our sympathy to
his entire family. Hope all the happy memories you have will help you get through this sad time.

We are sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family.
