Not sure what to say?

Mike was truly an Environmental Thought Leader. Mike was my source of inspiration and mentor.
God bless Mike and his family he will truly be missed but never forgotten.

I became friends with Mike when he worked at the City & then the County. Mike was the consummate public servant & I always looked forward to seeing him with his captive smile & the joke of the day! I’ll miss him. He was a true friend!

Mike was a positive and caring person, who always had a smile and hug. He was a visionary in the solid waste management field. My condolences to his family.

Mike was not only a good friend but a tremendous resource that would go out of his way to help. His early leadership with the Solid Waste Management Districts will never be duplicated. My deepest, and most sincere condolences to Mike's family, he will be missed by more people than you may know.

Saddened to hear of Mike's passing. Mike was a good friend and colleague for over 30 years. At this time all thoughts and prayers go to the family and especially Nancy. May God's love hold you gently.

I spent a lot of time with my older cousin Mike when we were kids. He lived in Shadyside with Aunt Jackie and Uncle Duane, and I would visit with my family from Canton. I'll never forget how excited I was when he would invite me to watch him work in his chemistry lab in his basement. I always looked up to him because he was very intelligent and also funny. Condolences to his beloved wife Nancy.

My heart goes out to Mike's family, such a huge loss. Mike was one of my first colleagues in the solid waste field, and I always enjoyed our conversations. I will miss him. Your family is in my prayers as you send him home.

Mike was a great person. He always seemed generally happy to see me and share his knowledge with me whenever our paths would cross. I was happy to call Mike a friend. My prayers go out to his family in this time of loss.

My condolences to family & friends. Peace and prayers
