Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear about Michael's passing. He will always be remembered by his sense of humor and willingness to help anyone. Michael and I shared a couple of classes at Mater Dei and his laugh and sense of humor will not be forgotten. My deepest sympathy goes out to his wife, children and family. You will be in our prayers.

Mike was a good friend and all around Great guy. We will deeply miss him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Lopez family as they go through this trying time. Erny, Carol, & Ariel Huntress

I will always think first of Mike as the precocious 2 year old that I first met on our way to Bilbao, Spain. Then as my children's loving friend (and brother) in the years since. There is a space in my heart reserved for Mike--for his larger than life compassion, love of life, humor, intelligence, many passions, probing intellect, faithfulness and joy. My love and prayers go out to Tasha, Edna and David, Danny, Mando and Sammy. With love, Mary Tindukasiri

Our entire family was deeply sadden to hear of Mike's passing. Our condolence to the entire Lopez family, in this most difficult time. Keeping all, in our prayers, RIP Bro!!!

I went to high school with Mike and remember him as being such a sweet, smart, funny, genuine, and most of all nice person. He made homeroom something to look forward to. Even as class president, football captain, and 4.0 student, he treated everyone with warmth and love, regardless of who they were or what clique they were in. People like Mike are few and far between. My prayers go out to his family, especially to his wife, daughter, and mother who must be missing him so -- and to everyone...

Dear Lopez Family, my heart is broken for you all. I had not seen or heard from Miche in a long time, but he was such a good friend to me when my mom passed away several years ago. He will be missed, My deepest condolences to you all.

I am heart broken! Michael was one of my best friends at RSL I loved his clever wit. My deepest condolences to Tasha and Mike's family. Sincerely, Rhonda Hopkins

Dear Edna and all the Lopez family, Michael was such a joy to interact with. I really appreciated all support he added to our relationship with COMPA. He would always lift spirits in a room when he was present. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,

Dear Lopez Family,
Mike was very dear to us, and we enjoyed working with him so much. He had an amazing work ethic, a larger than life personality, and he dedicated so much of himself to making a better community in Southern Nevada. His contribution to emergency preparedness in Clark County is immeasurable. Best wishes to the family in your time of great loss and sorry. Irene Navis and the staff of the Clark County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security
