LYNCH, Michael A. Sr., departed this life June 3, 2011. Remains rest at the Carlton T. Brooks Funeral Home, 2200 Hull St where his viewing is Tuesday, June 7 at 12 noon (today). Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 8 at 11 a.m. at Second Baptist Church, 3300 Broadrock Blvd. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.

Boy was this a surprise I guess for everybody who knew Mike man I was shocked and didn't find out until today which is 6-13 and I would run into Mike at seven eleven oh my God! Well to the Family he will greatly be missed by me! My prayer's are with you all! A great Man.

To the Lynch Family: It was a pleasure serving Mr. Lynch at the VAMC. My last encounter with him was at the stop light exiting the VA and we had the same radio station playing and was bopping to the beat!! Wow, what a shocker and lost! God bless the family.

There are no words that can express the emptiness we feel from the passing of our friend and brother Mike. He was a kind,loving "Gentle Giant" that to know him was to love him.
