Not sure what to say?

To Uncle Mike, another NFL season is here and I got to thinking about you and how each and every year we would talk about the upcoming season and who we liked to win it all. Today's is your birthday too and you will be happy to hear/see that your family has gone down to the track in memory of you. Right now, I am sure they are talking about old times, having fun, laughing a lot, and undoubtedly shedding a few tears too. You see Mike, as Abraham Lincoln once said, "in the end, it's not the...

Mike, I am grateful to you for many different things, the most important being that you were an example for Tom to role model himself after that I have benefited enormously from. As well, you shaped the lives of my children, your nieces and shared your stories, love and time with. I am forever blessed to have known you and benefited by your involvement in our lives.

Uncle Mike: I love you so much and I will miss you. You were the best story teller I have ever met, I will retell your stories forever to other little kids who may not have had the chance to hear them. You are a wonderful man who touched everyone's heart. You don't even know how much you will be missed, I will remember you forever. I will always look after Demi and Reid to make sure they are okay because I know how important they were to you. Love always, Lindsay

Pa:
Its memories that live forever, the thoughts and feelings a person leave behind are truly their legacy. You Michael left a legacy of love, loyalty, and smiles, your warmth will be felt by all that knew and loved you with every thought of you or mention of your name. You mastered the art of being there; always available for an encouraging word when life felt it’s heaviest. Your presence brought confidence and safety to those around you always knowing you would catch them before they...

Brother Michael,
I miss you and I love you. I will always carry you in my heart.
I will think of you every time I look up at the stars.
Michael, thank you for the stories. I will always remember you has "The Man with the Golden Heart". Thank you for being a wonderful Uncle to my girls. I will read to them the story of The Valveteen Rabbit and I will think of you when I read "What is real?"
I am just one of the many children in this family who has loved...

Demi and Reid,
There isn't anything that anyone can say or do to take away your pain and sorrow. Just know that we are here for you anytime you want to talk or need a hug.
Remember that Pa will always be with you, with a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face, he'll always be with you. He was a wonderful man and will be missed tremendously. Remember everything he taught you and keep his memory alive. Live well and make him proud!

To my father, The most important man in my life, excluding my son. Thank you daddy, for all your solicited and unsolicited advice through the years. None of which was ignored. Thank you for my memories, thank you for all the things I used to blame your for, cause now I realize I carry those things with me forever and they are part of you. Thank you for helping me raise my beautiful children, helping my son become a young man, and my daughter a confident young lady. You are and always will be...

Uncle Mike,
There is so much I have to thank you for. All the late night talks, all the walks, all the tea you made me and all the laughs and smiles you gave me. Whenever I visited you always made me feel so welcome and so important and I thank you for that because you were always so important to me. I will take you with me wherever I go, you will always be in my heart. Tom and I and the boys love you so much. Tell Mom and Uncle Jack I love and miss them. Goodbye for awhile my...
