Michael "Mike" Macesich

Dear Macesich Family,

I was sorry to read about Mr. Macesich's death. My contact with him goes clear back to 1962 when he started teaching chemistry at U-High. I had married that summer and by October was pregnant (with James) and had morning sickness. Since I was married, I requested to do my student teaching at U-High.

I was a math major and a physical science minor. That meant I only had one general chemistry class for a year and one semester of organic chemistry at...
