Not sure what to say?

Mickey was my friend and classmate.... Irish Hill, Hibernian St., Trilby St., St. Catherines, John Carroll....This was the path we both followed. We both graduated St. Catherines, two of five grads. Now, Jackie, Matthew, Larry and Mickey really graduated. Once upon a time, Mickey and I sang an Ave Maria duet during mass courtesy of Miss Marian Tortomase; he had a good voice. My chosen confirmation name was Michael; can you guess why? It should be noted that Mickey was much older than me...

There´s someone in Heaven turning their head because they heard a loud and boisterous laugh and then heard..."Welcome Mickey, job well done!"! Love this man and his wonderful family because they ARE our family!

Thank you all for your kind messages. We will celebrate Dad´s life on Friday, April 26, 1:00 pm at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

Sorry to hear about Mickey, Nice man !!

My thoughts and prayers are with the Mackinae family in this time of bereavement. May the memories shared fill your hearts with joy during this difficult time.

I remember Red so well growing up. We always filled up our cars at Mackinaw´s. He always brought us a piece of bubble gum and would share a story or two. That was when you had full service not only with a smile but from someone who felt like family. God bless you all! Judy Minyard Bynon

So sad to hear of this. Always had the best memories of Mick growing up in Pratt City. Mackinaws, Service Station was a landmark. RIP

Sandee, I am so sorry about the loss of Mickey. I remember you talking about him so often during our old days at DPS. Much sympathy to you and your family. Sue Cleverdon Dixon

Sander, I am so sorry for your loss! I think about you often & miss seeing you! Much love! Terrell Halcomb
