Mike was a wise and insightful trustee for Harlem Link Charter School who helped guide us through some difficult transitions. He is missed and our community is grateful for the time we had with him.

Dear Whitney, Maggie and families,

Mike was a teammate and classmate. He was a great, great guy who saw the greater good and pursued it for the benefit of those most in need. Whitney----I will write.

My condolences to Whitney and family. Mike was a true friend to all. My fondest memories are from High School, especially English class. He had such a wonderful ability to make everyone feel good about themselves. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I went to school with Mike and he was one of the nicest guys there. Loved seeing him at Class reunions and it's great to see how much good he did throughout his life. He will be greatly missed I'm sure by his family and close friends. My prayers are with the family. Beth McCormick da Silva

Mike was one of my closest friends in high school and he was a really great guy! Even though we lost close touch over the years, it was always great to see him at our high school reunions and be able to catch up. Many fond memories of Mike and he is going to be very sadly missed. Mike and Maggie lived on our block in Norwich, NY. Mike and I were in the same grade through high school, so I have many fond memories.
