Mike was a good man when ever I saw him he always kissed me. He was a loyal man, he loves everyone and he always will.

Mike was my uncle. He was such a good man. I saw him the day before he died, he immediatley picked me up and squeezed me close to his face and kissed me alot. My cousin charles maffei, reached his hand out to uncle Mike considering, he diddn`t know him much, uncle Mike picked him up and hugged him.I will never forget that day. He was my favorite uncle. Atleast he is with my cousin, his son michael maffei. I will always love him so much.

Michael is my childrens uncle and Godfather.I just don't know where to start,He was more than you know. I knew Mike since I was four years old and we always had lots of good times together. He was a good friend and everytime I saw him we would always spend time catching up on life. He will be missed greatly. My sincere condolences go out to his family.

I was very shocked to hear about about Mike, he was a great person and a special friend. I'm very sorry I couldn't be there to say good bye. All my thoughts and prayers to Missy and the Maffei family.

it's been about 2 weeks since Mike has passed but I still feel horrible pain. I always think of all the wonderful times we had together and the little things that were "our" inside jokes. He was such a wonderful man I can't even start to explain. My heart goes out to his family: Jeff, Marilyn, Jeff, Bethy, David, Anthony, and most of all Nicole. We were deeply saddened to hear of Mikes passing. He was truly an incredible man. Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and loved ones.
