I'm sorry to hear that Mike passed. I knew Mike during the mid-90s when I was a teenager studying karate at Tiger Schulmann's karate studio in NE Philly. I tested for my black belt with Mike in April '95. He was a great guy and a wonderful mentor for a cocky teenager like myself to have. Mike had a wonderful combination of humor and modesty that resonated with me. He always made time to train on the mat with me or let me vent my daily life frustrations. God bless you Mike and hope to see you...

We met Mike when considering acquiring a Griswold Franchise. At one point it became clear we needed to share some confidential information with him and asked that it remain confidential. It may have been tempting to not do so but Mike gave us his word...and kept it! He was a man of integrity and truth. R.I.P. Mike.

I'm am so sorry for the loss of Michael, his brother Jeff and his parents.

My condolences to Amanda, Nicholas, Paula and the entire Magid family. After being his next door neighbor, I reconnected with Mike after 40 years and am so sorry to hear about his passing. Your family isin my thoughts.
