MAGNIER, Michael Michael Edward Magnier, of Seabrook Island, husband of Shirley Nickerson Magnier died Tuesday, February 12, 2008. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Edward and Elizabeth O'Brien Magnier on Sunday, March 12, 1933. Mr. Magnier was a graduate of Holy Cross College in Woecester, MA and was a retired Group Department Manager with New England Life Insurance Company. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Mr. Magnier was a two term past president of the Kiawah/Seabrook Exchange Club, loved golf, reading and was an avid football fan. He was an active member of Holy Spirity Catholic Church. Magnier of Seabrook Island, SC; six children, Nancy Boxx of Newport News, VA, Pam Moon of Florence, SC, Patrice and Frank Corker, Joe and Michelle Magnier, Beth McEachern, and Kevin and Mary Smith all of Atlanta, GA; a sister, Maureen Wuelfing of New Jersey and twelve grandchildren. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Edward Magnier are invited to attend his Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 16, 2008, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be private. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to either Our Lady Of Mercy Outreach, P.O. Box 607, John's Island, SC 29457 or to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, P.O. Box 719, John's Island, SC 29457. Arrangements by JAMES A. MCALISTER, INC., 1620 SAVANNAH HWY., 766-1365. Not sure what to say?

Bob and I shall always remember the baseball game, hockey game and that basketball game. Mike was such a cheerful friend to be with. Mary Lou and Bob Anderson

Dear Shirley and Magnier Family,
Mike was very special to me and was a proud Veteran. He touched the lives of the staff and residents of the Victory House. I appreciated his quick wit and keen observations. He was thankful for the love and friendships in his life. You were his bride and love of his life. I will never forget his wisdom, smiling blue eyes or his love of orange soda....

Shirley, I was so sorry to see that Mike had passed on. Thankfully you have your family and friends to help comfort you. I would like to do whatever I can to make this easier for you. My prayers will be for both of you.

Nancy,
I just read of your father's passing and it brought many memories of you and your family. Your parents were so fun and fun loving and I know your entire family must feel much sadness. I, too have recently lost my father, so I do know. I miss talking to you and keeping up but very occasionally hear wonderful things about Sarah and Charlie. Please contact me if you would like. I would love to hear from you. Please give my love to your mother and brother and sisters. I miss and...
