Not sure what to say?

Remembering Mike with such warm thoughts. We were in the same class from Kindergarten through grade 12.

First and Foremost my thoughts and prayers go out to Mike's family. Mike and I grew up together. We shared so many special times. As kids, we played basketball (self-made hoop) in the warehouse of his father's IGA store. The memories run deep!! We had so many great times at both the IGA Store and at Topper Popper, where I would sit and talk with Mike while he worked. He was the kind of friend that anyone would like to have. He would text or call me on my birthday every year, which meant...

Thinking fondly of Mike and the wonderful times we shared over the past several decades with our mutual friends from PMM &Co. You certainly will always be kindly remembered as a fun, kind and very thoughtful man.

Mahones, my friend of 43 years, rest in peace knowing that you will be missed. Mike and I both came to the IBM District office from our sales territories to staff, both working for Jerry Kenline. We loved our jobs, we loved working for Jerry and we learned so much together. We bonded with so much common ground and have remained close for so long. I was so looking forward to Mike coming to Minnesota in July to stay for a few days. The fond memories run deep, adios my friend.

Mike and I most recently had dinner with Mike in April on one of his trips back to Lincoln.....same ol "Hone" . Always so kind and yet so funny and his smile said it all. He talked so proudly of Ashley and Ryan. Shared his plans for the upcoming spring and summer. Mike loved that Mahoney came back to Lincoln several times a summer to play golf with him and Lolo and other friends at 6 in the morning. Too soon dear friend- so missed.

Prayers and sympathy for his family. Mike was a great friend. Worked with him at the Topper. Went to school with him. Many fond memories.

Mike and I started working together in 1979 in Lincoln while we both worked for IBM. "Mahones" was a great salesman...very professional and loved helping others. After he was promoted to Minneapolis, we stayed in contact over these many years. We would talk fairly often and just kept up in each others lives. I know he loved the Kansas City area and had many friends. He also loved his children and step-children very much. He and I loved the Huskers and talked about them a lot. As a...

My deepest sympathy to Mike's family. I worked with Mike at IBM and considered Mike a friend. He was a great guy who loved his family. He will be sorely missed. May he RIP. Jerry Kenline

Each time I saw Mike he had a smile and a great sense of humor. I hope fond memories of his kind and gentle spirit will provide the family comfort.
