Not sure what to say?

Not a day goes by where I don´t think of Mike .. Missed but. NEVER Forgotten.. Carl

I was very sorry to hear about Michael's death, especially in such an heroic way. I never met Michael but I was James Manley's cousin, Barbara Manley Gestwick. Michael was probably my first cousin once-removed. Ever since I moved away from Wilmington, I lost touch with the relatives who remained. I thank my cousin, Bobby McGinty, who alerted me to Michael's demise. My sympathy goes out to the family as well as my prayers for he and his family.

Amy Jo, words can't describe the sorrow I feel for you and your sons as well as those that loved your Michael. I pray that God heals your heart more with each passing day. I pray your memories will comfort you and bring some kind of peace. Know I as well as my family and friends are praying for you.

To the Manely Family from across the bridge. Words can't describe the sympathy and empathy we New Jerseyians feel in this very sad time of loss. The gut wrenching news has still and always will be felt. You are all in our thoughts and prayers; all of you. I represent a group of old friends who feel your horrific pain. So sorry again for this indescribable happening. ~ with all our compassion and love; deeply missed and never forgotten...

Michael is well loved and will be highly missed. I have never met Micheal or his family; however I have had the pleasure to hear so many wonderful things about Michael and his love ones. The tears have flowed, with laughter interjected, and sorrow for the loss of a great friend. Ed McCarron is who has shared memories of his very dear, well loved friend with me. Michael will always be remembered for his smile, his humor, and his genuine character; showing his love to those he came in contact...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I did not know Michael, but after reading his story he is a true hero and represents what a selfless and loving father would do for his children and family. We need more people like Michael in this world. Rest in peace.

Amy I am thinking of you and I am so sorry this happened...it has been a long time but you are always in my heart..he will be in good hands with Dad making pop corn and watching westerns...I wish there was something I could do...I miss you ...sending hugs across the miles-love Amanda Long

I didn't know Michael personnally but I saw him each day when he picked his son up from school. Knowing nothing else I knew he was a loving father and a caring person by the way he interacted with little Michael. He was always thankful for everything we did for his son at school and how happy Michael was at the end of his school day! Mike always made you feel like "job well done". He was special like that! His smile will be missed by all the people who have ever come in contact with him! He...
