I just rec'd this post from ND at Mike passing...the last time I saw Mike was 1972 at the circle we both were hitching a ride...Mike was working part time at a hospital..and was excited that he helped save a life..the person was choking..he was applying to meds schools overseas..I think in the Caribbean anyway great guy very passionate to be a Medical Dr....RIP...will say the Rosary Blessing to Children

My condolences to Mike's family and friends. I was blessed to have a 50 year plus friendship with Mike that started on the basketball courts of Flint and remained all these years. Mike is missed. He was truly a great friend and like Snyde I miss the calls with him during college football and basketball games. Whenever I saw " the most interesting man in the world" commercials, I always thought of Mike. His was a life well lived as a doctor, adventurer and author. He also made huge...

We all want to leave this world knowing somehow we made it a better place, and to have friends testify to our achievements. Mike certainly accomplished this, and I am honored to have called him a friend. My most sincere condolences to his family. Mike will most certainly be missed. Phil Dutcher
