Mona, Mikey, and Brian......I am sorry I did not get to speak with you at the service on Tuesday. You have been in my prayers that God would provide the comfort to your lives that only He can give to us. The service was honoring to God and Mike! We appreciate the times we had with you all as the boys played baseball together!

Mona and Mike,
I considered Mike a good friend even though we had our moments in the Sanford baseball leagues and later in Orlando Senior Baseball. But I always respected him as a coach and mechanic, which is big compliment. I will miss him.

Mike was the consummate baseball coach and role model for anyone looking for someone to emulate. He touched many lives, young and old, during his time here and we all benefited from knowing him.
A great coach, husband, father and friend who left this world way too soon.
I was fortunate to have had the privilege of knowing him from baseball and it was no surprise when he began bringing state championships to Deltona.
Our sincerest and heartfelt thoughts and prayers extend to the Maples family and close friends. May your memories of "Coach" always leave a smile on your faces each and every time you think of him.
