What a great man. He and my Dad, Jimmy Gioia, had the distinct honor of both being Italian police officers on Normal Ave. For some reason most of them were Irish. Loved being neighbors back in the good old days of Bridgeport. All of our parents are now sitting on the front porches of heaven. We used to live across the street from your Grandmothers house and my Mom and Dad were always sitting outside. Mrs Scalzo had the store.
