Not sure what to say?

Miss you Mike, you were a great man !

I'm living here in Maine, over a friends home watching the Eagle's game. You watching, guys?
Love,
Maryann

Well, it's almost November, the month of my dear cousin's birthday. He was 4 when I arrived on the scene and I know that his caring nature was abundant from my early days. I am still missing my Michael but the days are a bit easier. I am not crying myself to sleep yet I can still cry. It's a busy world and everyone deals with loss in many different ways. Thankfully, I have had the support to get me where I am today. I know that Mike is with me in spirit and in my heart. That was never...

It took me awhile to say this, because it didn't seen like Mike had left us yet until yesterday (7/9/08) when Mike's brother Tom & cousin Maryanne came to remove his personal belongs from his office. I miss you Mike and i will never forget the friendship we developed over the 15 1/2 years, beside from me being your Administrative Assistant II. We were like family here at PNC Bank and i enjoyed all the festivity away from the bank that we all shared with you. It will not be the same without...

Mike,

I am sorry that you are gone. We were not close at Neumann but when I went to Temple U. in Sept. 1974, it was good to see a familiar face and to hang out with a South Philly guy. After college, we lost touch but again ran into each other in 1982 at the after hours party run by David Dye at 38th and Chestnut Sts. Then again we lost touch until my son started playing ice hockey in the Strath Haven program run by your brother, Joe in 1998. Once again, it was good to reconnect. You...

As one of Mike's PNC family, I was deeply saddened to learn of Mike's death. Mike was passionate, brilliant, kind, outrageous, and a loyal friend and colleague. He was a great man and a true friend, and we wanted him to stay with us longer than he could. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Sue and Dan, we were very saddened to learn of your loss. We understand how hard it is to lose a brother. May God grant him eternal rest and help your family to remember Michael always. Our prayers are with you.

Tom, Joe and Dan,
I just heard this morning of Michael's passing. I am so sorry. As all of you are, Michael was a great guy.

Although I have not seen him in a while, when I did run into him, he always took the time to stop and chat for a bit. He always asked about my Mom and Dad. He made you feel special.

Always in a good and positive mood, Michael is someone we can all look at as a model for living life on the positive side.

With fondest memories,

To Michael's brothers, wives and families; Aunt Minnie, Uncle Vincent and their family; Aunt Mary's children and family; and all other relatives not mentioned, Ken and I express our deep sorrow at Michael's passing. The wonderful legacy he leaves behind echoes the manner in which he was raised by his wonderful parents, Grace and Dan Markert---people of my generation. Having met Grace and her sister Minnie in 1944 through my association with their sister Mary, I became very friendly with all...
