We were so sad to just learn of Mike's passing. Mike always had the most wonderful welcoming hello! Our sympathies and prayers are for the entire Martin family. Sincerely. Gay & Don Burch

It is said that if you want to know the true character of a man, play 18 holes of golf with him. Mike was a wonderful guy - he passed every test of character imaginable. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by all of us who played with him.

We were both Phi Psis at Colgate we lived on the same street in Fairport and we were both in the insurance business in Rochester ... but never at the same time. I knew Mike a little;, enough to know that he was truly a remarkable person. Wish I had known him better. I'm sure he will be sorely missed .

During the course of your life, you sometimes are privileged to meet special people, those that stand out from the rest. You look at your personal timeline, and those people shine like jewels along the way. Mike Martin was one of those jewels. Mike had a certain grace about him that was obvious as soon as you met him. And when he smiled, you could tell that smile ran deep and came from his heart. He did so much good, both public and private, through his volunteer work. I especially think...

Though we separated and went our many ways, Mike will always remain 'one of ours'--RFA Class of '64. We will miss our true friend. Sending heartfelt sympathy to his loved ones.
