Dear family of Mike,

Our deepest sympathy to everyone in the Marzec family. I had the wonderful pleasure of working with Mike at Blue Shield. He always made everyone laugh - and what a wonderful gift that is. He now is at peace in heaven. May God Bless you Mike.

I have known Mike since kindergarten. Unfortunately we lost track and did not keep in touch since moving away from Lackawanna. We had many good times both at St. Barbara's and during our high school years. My brother called me this evening to let me know Mike had passed. Jeannie told me last year she heard Mike had cancer and was not doing well. My condolences go out to Mike's family. He truly was a wonderful guy with sense of humor and an infectious smile. I met Mike when he began working for BC/BS in Buffalo, NY. He was such an asset to my department. That was many, many years ago. He is someone that I never forgot and have thought of many times throughout the years. Mike was an excellant employee and I forsaw advancement to management in his future. Little did I realize then, that I would loose him to another location.

When he left the Buffalo area, I missed him very much. His wonderful personality, charm and smile were...

I worked with Mike at BC/BS in Buffalo. He was a good friend and always made me laugh. Even though the years have separated us, I shall always remember his smile. Rest in peace, my friend.

I somehow missed the obituary, or I would have gone to the funeral. I am so sorry for his passing. He was my manager for many years at Datrose and was great to work for. I am very sad and shocked to hear this. I left Datrose several years back and did not even know that he had cancer. I was actually just talking about him the other day.. he was always such a caring person, especially for his employees. Sending prayers of comfort for the family.

Mike worked for me at the Upstate Medicare Division for 5 years. I could always count on Mike to be a hard working and supportive member of our management team. I am sadden to read of his passing and know there is a special place for him with our God.

I was saddened to see the obituary in the paper. My prayers go out to the family. I knew Mike back in the late 70's when a group of us moved to Binghamton to start up the Medicare operation for BS. We all lived in the same apartment complex and carpooled to work and to Buffalo every other weekend for a while. He was a great guy in every way - funny, caring, dependable, always willing to help out with a smile on his face. I was sorry to hear about his cancer battle. My heart goes out to...
